Multi-touch Lawsuit Showdown
Sooooo… lemme get this straight:
Elan Microelectronics sues Apple.
TEDsters will recognize the multi-touch concept from the introduction by Jeff Han at TED 2006 (without seeing code or chipsets) or from the Microsoft Surface — except on a larger scale. So why aren’t these two jumping into the multi-touch lawsuit roulette?
Someone, please enlighten me… I’m curious as to the differences between the handheld multi-touch and the large-screen multi-touch.

Update: Wired (UK) explores all of the lawsuits in their June issue.http://www.wired.co.uk/wired-magazine/archive/201…
